Ballarat Squash and Racquetball is excited to announce the reopening of our centre for Racquetball and Squash. It's been too long! With the recent announcements from the Victorian Government, Ballarat Squash and Racquetball players are now able to get back on court - COVIDSafe restrictions permitting. As per the announcements, our centre has to comply with the following restrictions:
No structured competition.
A limit of 10 people at any one time in the facility; or
Density limit of one person per four square metres, whichever is less.
In order to comply with the restrictions and allow Squash and Racquetball players back on court, Ballarat Squash and Racquetball are pleased to reopen online bookings as per the terms and conditions below:
Courts 5, 6, 8, 9 and 10 have been made available for COVIDSafe bookings.
It is essential that you play on the court you are allocated and no other court.
Online bookings are the only means of getting access to a court. There will be no walk-ups or other forms of booking permitted.
There is a strict limit of two people per booking.
No spectators are permitted.
There is a strict time limit of one hour per booking.
All access fobs will remain disabled. Fobs will only be enabled when an online booking is confirmed. This is a manual process so please allow at least 12 hours notice.
Access fobs will be available for all bookings. If you do not have a fob then please allow at least 24 hours notice. This is to allow time for us to prepare a fob for you and arrange collection.
Collection of fobs will be from Bond Homes (cnr Ring and Learmonth Roads, Wendouree, Vic, 3355) during business hours.
The gym, Jiu Jitsu dojo, clubrooms and any other ancillary room will be locked with no access permitted to these areas of the centre.
No equipment will be available for hire.
The online booking system will be reactivated from 09:00 on Wednesday, 29 September, 2021.
In addition to the conditions outlined above, COVIDSafe terms and conditions apply to each and every booking:
DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU ARE SYMPTOMATIC IN ANY WAY.
DO NOT ATTEND IF YOU HAVE RETURNED FROM OVERSEAS WITHIN THE LAST 14 DAY.
You are required to scan in using the Service Victoria app and QR code. A sign-in sheet will also be available at reception for those who prefer the manual method.
Anyone 13 years or older must wear a mask when not playing.
Players are to wash or sanitise their hands before and after play.
Do not share playing equipment.
Traditional post-game handshaking is not permitted.
No touching or wiping of hands on walls or glass.
Cover your mouth if you cough or sneeze and dispose of tissues appropriately.
Avoid touching your face.
Avoid touching any surfaces.
If contact with a surface is made, ensure you sanitise it.
Head to our website to make a booking. Once there, you have two options in order to make a booking:
You can make a booking using your active subscription.
Navigate your browser to www.ballaratsquashandracquetball.com/bookings
Click "Log In" at the top right of the website
You then have the option of logging in with your Facebook or Google account or you can use an email address
Once you have logged in, return to www.ballaratsquashandracquetball.com/bookings and click the "Book Now" button
Click on the time that corresponds to the date you want to book.
Select a court from the "All Staff" drop-down menu.
Once a time, date and court are selected, click "Next"
Input your details in to the required fields. It is extremely important that you provide the contact details of ALL who are attending.
Ensure you read and acknowledge the COVIDSafe Terms and Conditions.
Once all fields have been properly completed, click the "Book It" button
Once you have booked, you will receive two emails. The first is the booking confirmation, the second is a copy of the COVIDSafe terms and conditions which you must undertake whilst onsite at the centre.
You can make a booking by paying the hire fee.
Navigate your browser to www.ballaratsquashandracquetball.com/bookings
Select the "Book a session - A$24' radio button.
Click on the time that corresponds to the date you want to book.
Select a court from the "All Staff" drop-down menu.
Once a time, date and court are selected, click "Next"
Input your details in to the required fields. It is extremely important that you provide the contact details of ALL who are attending.
Ensure you read and acknowledge the COVIDSafe Terms and Conditions.
Once all fields have been properly completed, click the "Pay Now" button
Enter your payment information and then click the "Pay Now" button
Once you have booked, you will receive three emails. The first is a receipt for the payment you've just made. The second is the booking confirmation and the third email received will be a copy of the COVIDSafe terms and conditions which you must undertake whilst onsite at the centre.
Fair Warning Ballarat Squash and Racquetball will be taking a zero-tolerance approach to compliance with the terms and conditions listed above. Regular, random inspections will be undertaken by COVID marshals and identified breaches will result in a ban for any period of time when COVIDSafe requirements are in effect. Depending on the severity of the breach, further sanctions may apply.
